If you want to maintain some additional, custom data for your machines, but there is no separate field for it in the system, you can use the Custom Fields feature. Create a new field, label it as you want and it is available for you to store the additional information.
Custom Fields Grid
Here you see a list of all custom fields you have created. Use the arrows in Up and Down columns to change fields’ order. This is the order in which they will appear in Create / Edit Machine screen:
Use command buttons above the grid or right-click on the grid, in order to:
Create Field button to launch Add Custom Field dialog:
Name (Mandatory): Enter the name of your custom field. It will be used as field’s label. Free text up to 64 symbols.
After you save the data, you will receive a success message:
To edit a custom field record, double-click it in the Custom Fields Grid or select it and use
Edit Field button to launch Edit Custom Field dialog. Make the needed changes and save.
After you save the data, you have to logout and login the application to reload the changes.
